FEES

FEES AND PRICING

Our fees are quoted as starting figures because every case is different. The fee for your matter depends on its complexity and is agreed in writing before any work starts, set out in your client care letter, which also explains what is included, what is not, and how any additional work is charged (in 15-minute units at the hourly rate stated in the letter). Barrow Legal does not charge VAT, so the figures below are the amounts you pay us.

Home Office application fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge, biometric enrolment fees, translation and DNA testing costs are disbursements paid separately and are not included in our fees. Typical timescales: sponsor licence decisions are usually issued by the Home Office within around eight weeks of submission; visitor visa decisions within around three weeks; other routes vary and we will tell you the current service standard when we quote. All work is carried out by, or under the supervision of, solicitors holding current practising certificates.

The starting fees below apply to standard matters. Where a case is more complex, for example an EU Settlement Scheme application with a difficult evidential history, a visitor visa with multiple previous refusals, or a poor immigration history, we will tell you before you instruct us and quote a fee that reflects the work involved.

Consultation

  • Initial video consultation (30 minutes): £100, credited against our fee if you instruct us within 30 days

  • Extended consultation with written advice (60 minutes): £150

Business Immigration

  • Sponsor Licence Application: from £3,000

  • Sponsor Licence Mock Audit and Compliance Visit Preparation: from £1,500

  • Sponsor Licence Compliance Advice: from £750

  • Skilled Worker Sponsor Support (CoS assignment, reporting duties): from £500

  • Sponsor Licence Suspension or Revocation Representations: from £2,500, quoted case by case

Personal Immigration

  • Visitor Visa Application (including previously refused applicants): from £1,200

  • Skilled Worker Visa Application: from £750

  • Family Route and EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit Applications: from £2,000

  • Spouse Visa Application: from £2,000

  • Indefinite Leave to Remain: from £1,500
