SPONSOR LICENCE SOLICITORS
SPONSOR LICENCE APPLICATION
Fees From £3,000. No VAT. Solicitor-Led.
Our fees for a sponsor licence application start from £3,000, depending on the size of the business and the complexity of the application, and are agreed in writing before we start. We do not charge VAT. The Home Office fee is paid separately and depends on the size of your business. Included: eligibility assessment, document review, a check of your HR and right-to-work systems, preparation and submission of the application, all Home Office correspondence up to the decision, and guidance on assigning your first Certificate of Sponsorship. We act for employers across Scotland, the North West and Leicester and meet by video wherever you are.
How It Works, In Four Steps
1. Call or message us. A solicitor confirms whether your business can sponsor and which roles qualify, before you spend anything.
2. We send a document list and check your HR systems, right-to-work records and key personnel so the application survives scrutiny.
3. We draft and submit the application and deal with any Home Office requests for information.
4. Decision. The Home Office currently aims to decide most applications within eight weeks; priority services may be available. We then guide you through assigning your first Certificate of Sponsorship.

MOCK AUDITS & COMPLIANCE VISITS
Licences No Longer Expire. Visits Still Happen.
Since 6 April 2024 sponsor licences no longer need renewing. The risk to your licence now comes from Home Office compliance visits, announced or unannounced, and from the reporting, record-keeping and right-to-work duties that continue for as long as you sponsor anyone. Suspensions and revocations almost always trace back to gaps that a proper audit would have found first.
What a Mock Audit Covers
We review your HR files, right-to-work checks, Sponsor Management System records, reporting history and the roles of your key personnel, exactly as a Home Office compliance officer would, and give you a written action plan to close any gaps. If a visit has already been notified, we prepare your Authorising Officer and Level 1 User for interview and can attend with you. If your licence has been downgraded, suspended or revoked, we prepare the action plan or representations within the Home Office deadline. Fixed fee agreed in advance.
